A new roofing system that gives the Pioneer-Pleasant Vale campus a coordinated, clean look with a color combination that really pops . . . . The Pioneer Pleasant Vale campus buildings had very old and damaged metal roofs with failing seams. Wind-driven rain had leaked into the buildings for years. Furthermore, the existing metal edge of the barrel roof on the elementary school gym had been improperly installed. For years, the rain had leaked down the interior walls of the gym.
The Coryell team installed an energy-efficient, UV reflective 60 mil Duro-Tuff® metal retrofit over every building on the Pioneer-Pleasant Vale campus. Next, they added new gutters and downspouts. Then they removed the edge metal from the gym and terminated into a newer gutter system; this stopped the rain from leaking down the interior gym walls. Finally, the team installed a unique tan membrane to match the school buildings and red edge metal to highlight the sections. A leak-free roofing system with a stand-out color combination!
