When the Coryell team assessed the CFM Corporation roof, they discovered an old roof with “self-performed” elastomeric coating that had to be reapplied annually to stop leaks. The roof had recently been fractured during a hail storm, and water was penetrating the surface. The team was able to represent CFM when a claim was filed with the insurance carrier and assist in getting the company the funding needed to upgrade their roof.
They then applied a 60 mil, mechanically attached, Duro-Tuff® metal retrofit system, which gives CFM a long term, watertight system with a 20-year, NDL (no dollar limit) warranty, covering material and workmanship. The team will assist CFM in the coming months as they continue to improve their facility by adding curbs for the fans the corporation will install on their rooftop.
