Max Tanner is an Oklahoma/Arkansas Education Consultant for Coryell Roofing and Construction, Inc. (Coryell Roofing). As an education consultant, Max uses his thirty years in education to assist school districts across Oklahoma and Arkansas by connecting them with the many resources that the Coryell Roofing team has to offer to meet all their roofing needs. Max has been a science teacher and coach, an assistant principal, a principal, and a superintendent. He has been a member of the American Association of School Administrators for nineteen years and has served on the governing board and the executive committee in recent years. His professional achievements include being named OASA District 11 Superintendent of the Year and President of Organization of Rural Oklahoma Schools, to name a few. Max graduated from Northeastern State University with a Master of Education. Max will be retiring from his career in education on June 30, 2021.
Max brings to Coryell Roofing the philosophy of “enjoying the little things in life, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.” Part of enjoying his life is working for Coryell Roofing, a company he says has a family-oriented feel and is made up of good people. When not acting as an Oklahoma/Arkansas education consultant for Coryell Roofing, Max will be spending more time with his wife of thirty-one years, Cember, their two adult children and their spouses, and their grandchild. Max also enjoys taking time off to hunt and fish.
