Here are a few items that we at Coryell Roofing are very thankful for in 2020:
- Vaccines!
- Our families, friends, and clients
- Our old nemesis, Mother Nature (it’s a love/hate relationship for roofers)
- Drive-In movie theatres
- Scuppers
- Zoom
- Facemasks that make people look like they’re smiling
During the holidays, giving thanks is typically celebrated as a meal, enjoyed with family and friends, or delivering covered dishes to another family home. If we are honest, though, isn’t it celebrated first in our hearts?
Let’s stop for a moment, right now, and take a breath—freeze time for just two minutes. What is it you are thankful for in this moment? Enjoying coffee and reading this article before you get started on your famous Thanksgiving green bean casserole? Are there people in your life you are thankful for? Have you retired from a lifetime career and now can do whatever you want every day? Maybe you are grateful for Zoom meetings during a pandemic, like us.
At Coryell, we believe in community and family, and those two things extend far behind our city limits and homes. Commercial roofing and construction aside, if there is anything you need, we are here for you—every day, not just this day or this week. If we cannot personally help, we will point you in the direction of someone who might be able to. We are thankful that you place your confidence and trust in Coryell Roofing & Construction to be there for your business, church, or school. From our work family to your family, you are in our thoughts, prayers, and hearts, and we are thankful for each of you. May blessings be yours this Thanksgiving.
