Blake Cooper served as Coryell Roofing’s Texas Education Consultant from July 2020 until his passing in 2025. A trusted leader and advocate, Blake worked tirelessly to support school districts across Texas, guiding educational leaders through complex decisions with integrity and care.
Before joining Coryell Roofing, Blake dedicated his career to education as a teacher, coach, principal, assistant superintendent, and superintendent. He was honored as Region 10 Superintendent of the Year in 2014–2015 and retired as Superintendent of Commerce ISD. A proud graduate of East Texas A&M University, Blake brought his commitment to excellence and service into every role he held.
Blake believed deeply in stewardship and relationships, forming connections that spanned decades and communities. His leadership, faith, and compassion left an indelible mark on colleagues and the Texas education community.
Blake’s legacy lives on through the countless lives he touched. He will always be remembered as more than a consultant – he was family.
