Monty brings to Coryell Roofing something that can’t be taught in a boardroom: a career spent inside Oklahoma’s schools at every level. He has driven the bus, stood at the front of a classroom, coached, led as a building principal, and served communities across the state as both a District Superintendent and Deputy Superintendent for the State of Oklahoma. That full arc of experience gives him a perspective on school facilities that few consultants can claim, including deep expertise in the nuanced use of General Fund, Bond Fund, and Building Fund dollars to meet the real needs of districts working within real constraints. He understands that no two districts are the same and brings that understanding to every conversation. For Monty, joining Coryell was a natural extension of work he has always done: advocating for schools, protecting their resources, and helping communities make decisions they can be proud of for decades to come. Outside of work, he and his wife stay happily busy with their two children and four grandchildren, and he finds time to golf, fish, hunt, and serve on the Praise and Worship Team at his church – a life built, like his career, around showing up for the people who matter most.
